Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in a fantastic game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers bet against other players. By betting against the dealer, beginning players don’t have to fret about any other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their $$$$.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game play, newcomers will be able to take their time and plan while not having to make quick decisions.

It is also much simpler to play for a long time with just a little bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer gets seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
