Poker Aces references two aces dealt before theflop. It is the best attainable before theflop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But regardless a good many bettors end up on the wrong end when given this hand.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You are sitting with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Always remember, you are attempting to produce as much profit from this strong position. You will want to maximise the opportunity. Going all-in will merely scare most gamblers into folding before making a wager.
If you are in the starting seat (first or second to wager), you’ll place a single wager. Anybody with decent cards will call, with hope somebody might raise. If there has been a raise do not spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your strategy will be to eliminate anybody that could be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you are fortunate you’ll fool 1 player into thinking that you are tricking.
If you’re in the middle or later seat (one of the last to place a bet) you will watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even though you’re sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing others to drop out following the flop. If you do not drive out your competitors you chance squandering your hand.
